Angie Harmon was an American actor, model, and vocalist who starred in many television and film productions over the past few decades. The model started out as a model, but once she was recognized internationally, she decided to pursue acting. In 1995, she began acting with the TV series "Baywatch Nights". Harmon's voice was used in a film adaptation of the film 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.' Harmon was able to decide in the early 2000s to concentrate on film and not work on television series. The return to TV acting series came about after appearing in a handful of films. She was among of a handful of actors to be photographed discreetly naked in the magazine 'Allure'. Her major work has been as the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. She was appreciated in her role as a detective, and won awards. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her excellent performances, but was not awarded any prizes.
